Artist Academy (ages 8-12)
Take an around the world cultural adventure! Visit far off places, learn about the people who live there and try art techniques developed by local artists and artisans. From the Americas to Polynesia and everywhere in between, come discover art on a global sale!

Art Club (ages 8-12)
Bring out your inner designer as we work with different medias to create jewelry, textiles, and so much more. We will use skills like problem solving, creativity, and imagination along the way. Each day will bring something creative and new!

Cooking Club: World Tour (ages 8-12)
Join us as we travel around the world and sample culinary cuisine masterpieces! Each week we will highlight a different country or region of the world and learn about their culture while preparing a traditional dish. So pack your bags, keep an open mind and ready your taste buds!

Foundations for Healthy Families (ages 7-12)
Looking for a fun way to spend time together as a family this Fall? Join our 6-week Foundations for Healthy Families class at the YMCA! This interactive program is designed to support development of healthy lifestyle habits through healthy eating, movement, mental wellness, and social connection! Want to learn more? Gadgets & Gizmos: Makey Makey (ages 8-12)
Can a banana make music? Can you use playdough to type a sentence? Joins us to explore all the things a Makey Makey can do! We will dive into conductivity, programming and more in this immersive STEM program designed to send curiosity into overdrive!

Let's Get Ready to Babysit (ages 11-13)
Our fun and fast-paced class will include scenarios and interactive activities. Our topics will consist of lessons in child development, age-appropriate play, behavior challenges & solutions, first aid & safety, handling emergencies, and communication with parents. *Please bring a lunch*

Little Music Makers (ages 3-5)Have fun making music together through instrument play, singing, action songs, and other activities. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Ninja Warrior Jr (ages 5-8)
We focus on developing motor skills through mobility, balance, power, strength, and endurance. We want to create a strong mind and body through fitness in a fun and safe manner. By learning new obstacles, we help athletes develop a positive mindset towards themselves and others. Setting and achieving goals will help boost self-confidence and self-worth.

On My Own at Home (ages 10-12)
Participants will learn how to stay busy and safe when at home alone, how to check for safety & dangers at home, how to handle emergency situations, simple skills for first aid, and how to make small snacks that are safe to eat.

Pizza and Painting (ages 6+)
Feeling hungry and creative? Bring your family for some delicious pizza while an instructor guides you step-by-step to complete an acrylic canvas painting. Price is per person, and includes painting materials, pizza and a beverage. Youth under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Youth In Government Program and Conference (grades 7-12)
Youth in Government (YIG) is youth-led civic engagement program for teens in grades 7-12 where student-delegates simulate Assemblies, Senate, Supreme Court, Media, and Executive Branch. Delegates from across Wisconsin convene at a Model Government conference each year to debate proposals they've written to improve our state.
The Green Bay delegation will meet once per week beginning in December, and the experience will culminate at the Model Government Conference in Madison March 4-6, 2022. The fee for this program includes the weekly meetings and the full cost of attending the Conference, including transportation, meals, and lodging. Participants must attend both the weekly meetings and the Conference.

Child with Adult Rhythm & Movement (ages 2-3)
Get ready to boogie! Partner with your child in a variety of fun, exciting dances as you spend quality time dancing to the beat. Parent participation is one-on-one with your child.

Ballet, Tap & Jazz Dance (ages 3-4)
Introduction to the art of dance focusing on the basics of ballet, tap, and jazz. Develop and enhance gross motor skills, listening skills, and positive peer interaction. Classes include fun and easy dance steps that change each session. Music and props are used to build coordination and self-esteem. The final class is an informal observation day. Tap shoes and ballet slippers required.

Learn the basic techniques and names for tap, ballet, and jazz dance steps. Emphasis is placed on proper body placement, learning steps to music, and having fun. The final class is an informal observation day. Tap shoes and ballet slippers required.

Hip Hop Dance (ages 6-13)
High energy dance classes with current music your child can relate to. Youth dance classes foster confidence, teamwork, and healthy exercise. Hip hop class will learn fun and funky routines with individual instruction. Utilizes basic hip hop moves that are age-appropriate.

Poms Dance (ages 6-13)
High energy dance classes with current music your child can relate to. Youth dance classes foster confidence, teamwork, and healthy exercise. Poms class will work on dance routines as a group, utilizing all dancers for visual effect. Poms are provided.


Gymnastics   VIEW GYMNASTICS DATES & TIMES »

Child with Adult Gymnastics (ages 1-2)
Explore the beginnings of gymnastics as a child with adult duo. This program is great for toddlers working on muscle coordination and confidence. Spotting techniques will also be introduced.

Gymnastics (ages 3-4)
Increase skills in strength, flexibility, coordination, and self-confidence while they tumble, swing, and have fun. Participants will be introduced to the basics of all four gymnastics events: vault, bars, beam, and floor.

Gymnastics (ages 4-5)
Continue to develop skills as more time is spent working on technique, strength, and confidence. Achieve mastery of skills like cartwheels, front support and casting, and walking on beam.

Beginner Gymnastics (ages 6-13)
Gain confidence and strength by learning basic gymnastics skills in this introductory gymnastics class. No prior experience necessary. Participants will learn independence and practice skills on floor, beam, bars, and vault.

Intermediate Gymnastics (ages 5-13) 
Prerequisite: Beginner Gymnastics skills passed.

A great class that builds confidence while utilizing all of the equipment in the gymnastics center to enhance skill level. The following intermediate level skills are the focus while working on form and technique:

  • Floor: cartwheels, handstand holds, jumps
  • Bars: casting, forward roll, chin up
  • Beam: relevé walks, jumps high kicks
  • Vault: squat on, straights, jump to stick

Advanced (ages 5-13)
Prerequisite: Intermediate Gymnastics skills passed.

A great class that builds confidence while utilizing all of the equipment in the gymnastics center to enhance skill level. The following advanced level skills are the focus while working on form and technique:

  • Floor: backbend kickover, handstand forward roll, round off
  • Bars: pullover, back hip circle, underswing
  • Beam: lever in and out, leaps, turns
  • Vault: pike on, hollow body fall, table top position

Junior Stars Stage C/D (ages 5-13)
All the fun and skill-building from the 7-week program expanded to this 14-week class for the gymnast who wants double the experience. Use the 14 weeks with the same instructor to polish moves and learn a small routine that will be performed at the conclusion of the program. Equivalent skills to Stages C/D. Class will begin the week of January 10th, 2022.

Junior Stars Stage E/F (ages 5-13)
All the fun and skill-building from the 7-week program expanded to this 14-week class for the gymnast who wants double the experience. Use the 14 weeks with the same instructor to polish moves and learn a small routine that will be performed at the conclusion of the program. Equivalent skills to Stages E/F Class will begin the week of January 10th, 2022.

Mini Stars Stage B/C (ages 3-4)
All the fun and skill-building from the 7-week program expanded to this 14-week class for the gymnast who wants double the experience. Use the 14 weeks with the same instructor to polish moves and learn a small routine that will be performed at the conclusion of the program. Equivalent skills to Stages B/C. Class will begin the week of January 10th, 2022.

Pre-Team Gymnastics (ages 6-13)
*By skill evaluation only. This program will prepare gymnasts for the competitive Gymstars program by fostering confidence and independence while working on advanced skill development with the following skills: Floor: back handspring, round-off rebound, extension rolls Bars: front hip circle, squat on, high casting Beam: split jumps, mini handstands, side handstand dismounts Vault: front handspring


Youth Sports   VIEW YOUTH SPORTS DATES & TIMES »

Child with Adult Sports Medley (ages 2-3)
Help your child learn the basics of a medley of sports. Drills and activities are paired with teamwork to allow you and your child to experience sports in an age-appropriate environment. Parent participation is one-on-one with your child.

Fundamental Basketball (ages 7-9)
A 45-minute class where your child will learn the fundamentals of the sport of basketball covering the basics of positions and roles, passing, and shooting & rebounding in a non-competitive environment. Modified scrimmages will be introduced in this session.

Recreational Basketball (Grades 1-4)
Recreational sports work on developmental skills with more advanced curriculum in a league format. Week 1 is a team practice. Weeks 2-7 begin with a 30-minute practice followed by a 45-minute game.

Fundamental Volleyball (ages 6-8)
Emphasis is on teaching the values of good sportsmanship, teamwork, goal setting and skill development in a fun, esteem-promoting atmosphere. Children will have the opportunity to build skills by learning the basic volleyball fundamentals such as overhand serving, setting, hitting, and digging in a non-competitive environment.

Intro to Tennis (Grades K-2)
Red ball classes are the perfect opportunity for children to learn the fundamentals of tennis. Activities focus on building agility, balance, and coordination skills (ABCs), while also developing on-court skills such as forehand and backhand ground strokes, appropriate grip, and tennis-specific footwork patterns. Red ball players will eventually advance to the orange ball with an improved understanding of how to play the game and will be prepared to make the transition to the larger court size. Red balls have 25% bounce height of a regular ball and are played on a 36' court.

Intro to Tennis (Grades 3-5)
Orange ball tennis classes are designed to continue building skills while learning or refining the techniques necessary to serve, volley and score. Children will continue to develop ground strokes, volleys and serves, work on footwork, and begin learning strategy. Orange balls have a 50% bounce height of a regular ball and are played on a 60' court.

Intro to Tennis Middle School (Ages 11-14)
Orange ball tennis classes are designed to continue building skills while learning or refining the techniques necessary to serve, volley and score. Children will continue to develop ground strokes, volleys and serves, work on footwork, and begin learning strategy. Orange balls have a 50% bounce height of a regular ball and are played on a 60' court.

Preschool Basketball (ages 3-4)
Have fun with sports by learning basic sports skills in an environment that is welcoming and fun. Sport classes create a foundation for a positive lifetime sports experience and build independence for those new to formal classes.

Preschool Hockey (ages 3-4)
Have fun with sports by learning basic sports skills in an environment that is welcoming and fun. Sport classes create a foundation for a positive lifetime sports experience and build independence for those new to formal classes. Class is held indoors.


Swim Lessons   VIEW SWIM LESSONS DATES & TIMES »

Child with Adult Swim Lessons (ages 6 months-2 years)
Accompanied by an adult, infants and toddlers learn to be comfortable in the water and develop swim readiness skills through fun and confidence-building experiences, while parents learn about water safety, drowning prevention, and the importance of supervision. A parent or family member from the same household, at least 16 years old, is required to be in the water with the child; 1 adult maximum.

Child with Adult Swim Lessons (ages 2-4)
Students develop comfort with underwater exploration, safe ways to enter and exit the water, body position and control, and movement through the water. A parent or family member from the same household, at least 16 years old, is required to be in the water with the child; 1 adult maximum.

Preschool Swim Lessons (ages 3-5)
Students develop comfort with underwater exploration, safe ways to enter and exit the water, body position and control, and movement through the water.

Youth Stages 1-3 Swim Lessons (ages 6-13)
Students develop comfort with underwater exploration, safe ways to enter and exit the water, body position and control, movement through the water, and will be introduced to combining skills. 

Youth Stages 4-6 Swim Lessons (ages 6-13)
Students will focus on all developing all major strokes in a class designed to increase stamina, and fluency in the water. Students will learn about competitive swimming and how to continue to utilize swimming as a part of a healthy lifestyle. Must have completed Stages 1-3.


Healthy Living   VIEW HEALTHY LIVING DATES & TIMES »

Accelerate (ages 14+)
Are you feeling stuck on your health journey? Are you ready to take the next step towards a healthier you? Join Accelerate at the YMCA to discover how to create forward motion with your health goals!

This 12-week program focuses on creating sustainable lifestyle changes to support your individualized health goals. Accelerate includes weekly group education and discussion sessions in addition to small group training or group exercise classes. In a supportive, small group setting, we will explore the many aspects of life that might impact your overall wellbeing such as mental health, nutrition, and physical activity.

Exercising with Parkinson's (ages 14+)
People with Parkinson Disease who enjoy group exercise may believe they are no longer able to participate in conventional exercise classes. Parkinson Exercise classes offer a customized exercise approach for the client. Classes incorporate evidence-based techniques that improve all-over mobility. Treadmill walking forward and backward, 30 minute floor routine of exercises promoting back, hip and shoulder extensor strength, range of motion activities focusing on stretching the hip flexors and trunk, speech enhancement - Led by a Physical Therapist. Classes start 4/22; no payment due until 5/1/2021.

Walk with Ease - Arthritis Foundation Program
The Arthritis Foundation Walk with Ease Program is an exercise program that can reduce pain and improve overall health. If you can be on your feet for 10 minutes without increased pain, you can have success with Walk with Ease. This program will help you motivate yourself to get in great shape, walk safely and comfortably, improve your flexibility, strength, and stamina, and reduce pain and help you feel great.
